This is another wonderful installment in the Rosemont Series that was over way too soon for this reader. It was nice to be able to slip right back into the lives of my friends in Westbury.

As this series unfortunately comes to a close (I know, I know, all good things must come to an end . . . eventually), good has triumphed over evil. Life is settling down once again in Westbury but this time, several of our friends are on new paths. New friendships have been made and the book closes with a nice ending for everyone.

Even though I read this book several weeks ago, my thoughts still return to my friends in Westbury. I wonder what adventures they are getting into now. Perhaps Hinske has more rabbits to pull out of her hat for Westbury yet!! We shall see.

Thank you Barbara Hinske for a wonderful series. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have been eagerly awaiting the fifth book in the Rosemont series and I wasn't disappointed. I fell in love with Westbury in the first book and every book has provided me with more evidence that the community is just that - a community, not just a place where characters reside. The characters are so real, I feel I know them (or wish I did). It is good to see couples of all ages in relationships that are positive and supportive of each other and of their friends. Westbury rallies around their residents in times of need and in times of celebrations and there are plenty of both in this book.

My only disappointment is the cover - that's not how I "see" Rosemont - it's too formal. I see the residents of Westbury and their surroundings as a comfortable Midwestern community where I would like to live and the art work doesn't fit my vision. But that's just my opinion.
Bringing Them Home is Book 5 in the Rosemont Series and it does not disappoint!! In fact, it may be my favorite in the series thus far. Hinske continues her story of life in the small town of Westbury. The beloved main characters have been through many challenges throughout the series and it's always interesting which ones choose better vs. bitter. It's a fantastic story of family, friends (old and new), a community that comes together for those they love, redemption and forgiveness, justice and new beginnings. As always, Mayor Maggie Martin presides over it all with the love and support of her husband, Dr. John Allen and graciously opens their beautiful home Rosemont for all important celebrations.
I eagerly anticipated this, the final book in the Rosemont series, and it did not disappoint. I fell in love with this series early in the first book. Our main character is starting a new life after the death of her husband and discovering some of his closely-held secrets. Along with Maggie, we travel to and fall in love with Westport and all of its characters, with the exception of a few involved in a large embezzlement scheme.

One of my favorite parts of the entire series the metamorphosis of one of the characters that I did not like and who was clearly untrustworthy. I don't want to include any spoilers, but those who have read the series know of whom I speak. This character discovers that the things he had long wanted and yearned for weren't the true desires of his heart after all. The fifth and final book does a great job of letting us know his worst secret and how he should deal with it.

I would love to see these same characters in another series by this author. They are hard to say goodbye to!

I loved this series plain and simple! From the minute I began the first book, I could not put it down. Each book was a page turner. Just when you thought the plot was going one way, it went another. There were characters you loved and some you didn't but that changed to especially in book five! Not only did I enjoy this series but I love sharing the experience with new found friends in the Rosemont group that was created. Thank you Barbara for writing such a wonderful story and Lisa for hosting the virtual event that took place on Tuesday! Well done ladies!
The series was well written & a good read. This the last book in the series, right now. It left some threads for another to be written. If you are not interested in getting involved in a series of books, I would recommend not getting the 1st book.
This is a very enjoyable series. I do hope there will be another book. This installment was filled with a lot of emotion, some new beginnings, some sad closures, second changes and some well deserved justice was handed down. My only negative comment about the series has ever been the language. I prefer when an author portrays the "bad/evil" characters through their behavior, character and thoughts instead of depending on language to make that point. From the very first book you will fall in love with Rosemont and the people who reside there, as well as the local towns people and you'll always be happy to come back and visit.
Having just finished this fifth book in the Rosemont series, I found the series, and this book in particular, encouraging and constructive. In addition to suspense and romance, there are interesting, contemporary themes--accepting others for their good qualities, rejoicing with others in their successes, helping others in need, showing hospitality, and many others. I loved the emphasis on therapy dogs--being therapy to the owners as well as to others experiencing health issues and other stressful situations.The evil characters eventually are confronted and have to pay for their misdeeds, and the honest, caring characters prosper in various ways. This novel and the other four in the series are well written and engaging. All the main characters are so well developed that I feel that I know them personally. Do read the series in the order they were written to experience the full impact and enjoyment of the Rosemont series.
